The three handsome and likeable guys of GYZE were difficult to miss even before they rounded up the Astan Asia Day in the evening. Especially bandleader Ryoji was present for fans at the band’s booth, but also bassist Aruta and drummer Shuji walked around without any shyness and were approachable for everybody.
Finally, the technicians dimmed the venue for the headliner and focussed on the stage with another great light show. The young band, their vigorous, not particularly Japanese Metal and the intense concert feeling heated up the audience and made even a few circle pits and wall of deaths possible. Metalheads moshed with Lolitas, ordinary dressed girls rocked relentlessly—everybody was caught by the band’s Melodic Death Metal and their striking cheers.
