The term ›tornado‹ describes the band’s work quite accurately. The high-pitched, not particularly clear vocals of TK and 345 (Miyoko Nakamura, bass and vocals) are not easy to adapt to. Their singing is awkward to our listening habits and the soundscape is partly a pretty massive, heavy one. Accept this and you get lost in the storm of their tunes: Fast, hitting beats, fascinating guitar melodies, intensely shredded chords, and a diversely distorted, prominent bass.
While experiencing the show, the focus switched while the musicians faded in vision. Already half hidden in the blueish, dark light setting, they didn’t move much. But, it’s their music that—if you dare to be carried away by the tornado—pushes your attention to what happens inside you. The world seemingly fell into pieces with the illuminated floating dust particles around us being akin to fireflies.
